Trying to send data to Fadal 88hs controller. Program just fills up cnc memory and stops sending. Is there some type of setting to where it will drip feed to the cnc? Baud rates are the same, 2400. software is on Xon/Xoff. cnc controller will store and run everything that was sent, but only until it gets to the end of what it has stored then alarms out and stops. Need some help.

This is the way you use the cnc control.

Most controls have two ways to receive data. One way is directly into cnc memory. (Just like you`re doing now)

The other is sometimes referred to as `Tape` mode or DNC. It`s often a dial or switch on the front panel of the cnc which needs to be set differently. You simply set the cnc into `Tape` mode, hit the machine start button. Nothing happens at this point, then go to easyDnc and click the send button. As data starts to flow the machine starts moving. Nothing is stored in the machine, it just completes each line of the program as it`s received and then throws it away and gets the next line and so on.

Not all machines have this tape mode. Some machines might need an option to be set in the parameters and others might need some kind of optional hardware to be fitted. I`d say your cnc supplier or documentation which came with the machine would be able to advise you on that.
