You obviously need separate port and cable to each cnc machine.

I have separate ports and RS232 cables to each machine but when I'm drip feeding and trying to sent files to another machine I get a message that states that DR is busy.

In DNC setup they need be setup to use different com port numbers. What computer com port is connected to the first machine? What com port is connected to the second machine?

Does the computer have two actual serial ports or are you using some kind of port splitter or switch box.

Also our software does not show any message "DR is busy". DR is an alarm that a CNC can show if the cable connector at the cnc end of the cable is disconnected.

Can you take pictures of the dnc setup windows for both machines.
Also take photos of the serial ports or switch box or whatever hardware you're using.

Also photo of the error message please.

Sorry about all these photos but it's difficult to know what the problem is unless I see it.
Thanks
