please all help me to enter the tape mode of fanuc 10m by any methods
the machine not have any switch key to enter tape mode
i read ht may be setting in parameter do that
how ?

"Tape" Mode is also known as "Auto" on some machines. | |

Sorry. I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean.
You said program is not received by PC. So that sounds like you are trying to send from the CNC to the PC/Computer? When doing that 'Tape' mode is not relevant. Just put EasyDNC into 'Receive' mode. (normal receive, not remo mode) and go to the CNC and 'Punch/Send' the program. Do you get anything on the computer display? Does the CNC appear to send anything? Or does it throw an alarm? or what?
'Tape' mode is not a mode within the computer/PC software. Tape mode is a mode that you set at the CNC.

Think of the fanuc like a computer. The 'CNC' is like the operating system and PMC is the low level PC BIOS.
DNC and TAPE mode are functions to get external data into CNC. The CNC then sends commands to PMC and PMC steers the hardware.
If you have no PMC then then nothing is going to work at all till the PLC is reprogrammed. But them how sure are you that the PMC is gone? | |
