I am sending from fanuc 21i and the files I get have all spaces removed from each line and and added space between each line. I also download from a Haas cnc and those files are fine. Anyone else have an idea of why this is so?

In the fanuc there's a parameter for the end of line, end of block or whatever fanuc call it. The options are things like CR/CR/LF or CR/LF or CR/LF/LF or variations thereof.
If you have to many LF's then you'll have an empty line between each line Just CR/LF is best. Maybe experiment a bit to observe how the parameter changes things.
As for the missing spaces. Again I thnk this may be a parameter in the fanuc
